“Dear Caldera Environment Centre,
I am writing on behalf of the Bob Brown Foundation to invite you to our Bundjalung Country event for the nationwide March in March for Native Forests on Sunday 23rd March, starting at 10am at Railway Park in Byron Bay.
A big crowd coming out to “End native forest logging!” will really make this a national election issue and inspire new people to get more involved in forest protection at this critical time.
The march will go from Railway Park to main beach, finishing at Denning Park (near the Surf Club) with a rally, entertainment and stalls. We anticipate the formal proceedings will wrap up by 11.30am.
